Myanmar businesses flood Thailand to follow fleeing customer base

BANGKOK -- A growing number of Myanmar businesses are setting up shops and restaurants in Thailand to clothe and feed the migrants and refugees fleeing their home country's protracted conflict and the forced military service introduced earlier this year.

According to several sources familiar with the Myanmar business community, dozens of business footholds have been established by their compatriots in Thailand in the past three months.
