BANGKOK -- Thailand's King Maha Vajiralongkorn has endorsed a cabinet led by new Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra, the Royal Gazette showed on Wednesday, with key ministers retaining their posts as the government looks to boost the economy and tackle a range of other challenges.
The new cabinet is expected to be sworn in over the coming days, with Pichai Chunhavajira remaining as finance minister, Anutin Charnvirakul staying on as interior minister and Pirapan Salirathavibhaga continuing as energy minister. Current Foreign Minister Maris Sangiampongsa will keep that job.
