Indonesians head to polls to elect Jokowi's successor
JAKARTA -- Indonesians started casting ballots on Wednesday to elect their next president, who will succeed incumbent leader Joko "Jokowi" Widodo in governing the world's fourth-most-populous nation.
Vying for the top job are Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto, 72; former Jakarta Gov. Anies Baswedan, 54; and former Central Java Gov. Ganjar Pranowo, 55. The winner will start a five-year term as president from October.
