China tensions with West a risk for resource exports, Australia warns
SYDNEY -- Australia's resource and energy exports declined 10% by value last financial year, and efforts by Western countries to wrest more manufacturing away from China could further threaten them, the government has warned.
Australia's Department of Industry, Science and Resources this week released its quarterly outlook for the country's resources and energy exports, which generated 417 billion Australian dollars ($277 billion) in the year through June 2024, according to estimates.
