Australia, China foreign ministers to manage differences 'wisely'
SYDNEY -- Australia wants "a stable, productive and mature" relationship with China, Foreign Minister Penny Wong said Wednesday after a "frank" discussion in Canberra on trade, regional security and human rights with her Chinese counterpart.
In the highest-ranking political visit from a Chinese official since 2017, China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi held talks with Wong in the Australian capital as part of ongoing efforts to "stabilize" and improve relations between the countries.
