U.S. to finance $500m in green exports to Vietnam
HO CHI MINH CITY -- The U.S. has inked a half-billion-dollar deal to boost green exports to Vietnam, the source of the country's third-biggest trade deficit and a rapidly rising manufacturing alternative to China.
For exports related to renewable energy, the climate, and infrastructure, companies can receive loans and other backing from the U.S. government's Export-Import (Exim) Bank, according to a statement released by the U.S. Embassy in Hanoi late on Monday.
