Thai construction giant's shares plunge 30% after $29.5m loss
BANGKOK -- Thai construction company Italian-Thai Development resumed trading on the Bangkok bourse Monday, only for its share price to slide 30.6%, after the company reported an annual loss of 1 billion baht ($29.5 million) last week.
The Stock Exchange of Thailand lifted the suspension on trade in ITD stock, only to impose a caution because the company's financial statements were not endorsed by an independent auditor. The caution requires investors to buy troubled stocks only with a cash balance account.
