Tesla sees slower growth in 2024 despite profit-squeezing price cuts
PALO ALTO, U.S. -- Tesla reported a second consecutive quarterly profit drop on Wednesday as the U.S. electric vehicle maker continued price cuts in China and other markets.
For the three months ended December, Tesla recorded $25.2 billion in revenue, up 3% year over year. However, the company logged a 39% profit drop in the quarter, with a net income of $2.5 billion, compared with $4.1 billion a year ago.
