Nvidia projects better-than-expected revenue on AI chip demand
PALO ALTO, California -- U.S. chipmaker Nvidia on Wednesday forecast revenue above market expectations for its fiscal first quarter, amid growing demand for chips used to power artificial intelligence technology.
One of the most closely watched companies in the AI supply chain, Nvidia projected quarterly revenue of $24.0 billion for February-April, plus or minus 2%, compared with analyst estimates of about $22 billion.
