LinkedIn VP warns humans to keep learning in AI era
TOKYO -- Aneesh Raman, vice president and workforce expert at business networking site LinkedIn, believes the most important skills for workers in the age of artificial intelligence (AI) are "soft skills." In other words, we all need to be better listeners and never stop learning.
He also said the economy is entering a new era and we will all be along for a ride that might force us to take our social skills into the workplace. "I'm calling it the relationship economy," Raman said. "It's an era where we will bring more of our uniquely human skills to bear. And those are skills like communication, critical listening, collaboration, empathy."
