Let Biden focus on NATO first, Pelosi says on election path
WASHINGTON -- Former U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, a key voice in the Democratic Party, called on colleagues to "hold off" from commenting on President Joe Biden's candidacy until the week is over and let him focus on the NATO summit.
But in a closely watched appearance on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" show, Pelosi did not unequivocally endorse Biden as the Democratic candidate, signaling that the issue of whether the 81-year-old incumbent is fit to run for reelection is still an open question.
