Kamala Harris picks Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as running mate: media
WASHINGTON -- U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris, the presidential candidate for the Democratic Party, has tapped Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz to be her running mate in the November election, U.S. media reported Tuesday morning.
Walz, a 60-year-old former teacher and two-term governor from America's heartland, is thought to have appeal among rural, white voters.
