India's snake rescue apps save lives, but education still needed
NEW DELHI -- Thanks to an app, Ajesh Lalu arrived in time to save the life of a little boy who had been bitten by a venomous snake.
"I reached the victim's home in the nick of time and arranged for the boy to be taken to hospital where he was saved," said Lalu, a 41-year-old snake rescuer. "The parents wanted to take him to a faith healer. In their hands, the victim certainly would have succumbed to the venom."
