Hong Kong Disney poised for 1st profit in decade on 'Frozen' bump
HONG KONG -- Hong Kong Disneyland Resort expects to turn a net profit for the first time in 10 years in the year ending September as a new "Frozen"-themed area and a recovery in international visitors boost revenue.
"The first quarter of calendar year 2024 was our most successful quarter ever, achieving record levels of revenue, EBITDA and net income," Managing Director Michael Moriarty said Tuesday at an earnings conference.
