Chinese tourists gobble up durians in Malaysia’s Melaka as Fan Bingbing ignites frenzy

Popular actress Fan Bingbing has driven a wave of enthusiasm among Chinese tourists to savour the luscious taste of durians in Malaysia’s Melaka state, according to local lawmaker Low Chee Leong.

Low said he was invited to interview the Chinese tourists enjoying the flavour and texture of the fruit at a stall along Jalan Tun Perak in Bachang, Melaka.

“Furthermore, these tourists can enjoy the freshest durians while holidaying here as well as tasting different types of local fruits,” he said.

Low said tour companies were also offering unique experiences to the Chinese tourists as they include eating fresh durians as part of their holiday package while visiting other tourist destinations.

“Tour guides shared that they received positive
