China, Iran, Russia to conduct joint maritime drills March 11-15
BEIJING (Reuters) -- Chinese, Iranian and Russian navies will conduct joint maritime drills from March 11-15 near the Gulf of Oman, China's defence ministry said on Monday.
The drills are aimed at "jointly maintaining regional maritime security," the ministry said in a statement.
China will send two guided missile warships and a supply ship to participate in the exercise, it said.
