Nvidia GTC
Nvidia is hosting its first in-person GPU Technology Conference (GTC) in five years, from Monday to Thursday. Company CEO Jensen Huang will kick off the event with a keynote speech in San Jose, California. Riding the wave of generative AI, the U.S. chipmaker has dominated the AI chip market since last year and is expected to announce new graphic processing units (GPUs) and other major AI developments at the highly-anticipated event.
South Korea hosts Summit for Democracy
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken will be among the attendees at the Summit for Democracy taking place in Seoul from Monday to Wednesday.
The event features discussions among government officials and civil society representatives on this year's theme of "Democracy for Future Generations." The U.S.-led summit was first held in 2021 as a forum for democratic countries around the world to expand ties.
