Australian senate urges stricter rules for 'Big 4' consultancies
SYDNEY -- An Australian Senate committee has recommended stricter oversight of the four major consulting firms and new rules for government contracts awarded to the sector, determining the organizations have operated in a regulatory "gray area."
The committee released its third and final report on Wednesday following an inquiry sparked by a major conflict of interest scandal involving PricewaterhouseCoopers employees.
