Australian fast-food chain Guzman y Gomez eyes $1.5bn IPO in June
SYDNEY -- Australian fast-food chain Guzman y Gomez plans to go public on the Australian Securities Exchange on June 20, the company announced on Friday, looking at a valuation of around 2.2 billion Australian dollars ($1.5 billion).
The company expects AU$242.5 million to be raised from the initial public offering. The listing includes AU$200 million in primary proceeds, which will help finance further expansion in Australia and elsewhere, and AU$42.5 million from a secondary selldown on behalf of existing shareholders.
