Singapore actor Ryan Lian calls out trolls who taunted him after knife attack

Singaporean actor Ryan Lian has hit back at netizens who mocked him after he was slashed at Nex mall in Serangoon.

The attack took place on Sunday and Lian later confirmed with Chinese media Lianhe Zaobao that he was slashed with a knife three times across his face and was sent to the hospital after the assault.

He was discharged on Monday and his alleged attacker Aaron Samuel Yukon, 21, has been charged with one count of voluntarily causing hurt with a dangerous weapon.

On Tuesday, Lian took to his Instagram page to address the incident.

According to Lian, he came across articles about the incident and was particularly bothered by comments left by netizens.

“Some people even left laughing emojis,” he wrote.
