Modi's constituency votes in final phase of India polls
VARANASI, India -- The temple town of Varanasi in India's northern state of Uttar Pradesh, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi has chosen to fight for his parliamentary seat, began voting on Saturday.
This is the home stretch of a seven-phase general election in the giant South Asian nation. There are also elections in seven of the country's 36 states and federally-governed territories, including Odisha and Bihar.
