TOKYO -- Artificial intelligence has created everything from music to novels, but how effective is the technology when it comes to crafting work in the style of high-profile human artists such as Japan's "god of manga," the late Osamu Tezuka?
That was the question explored as generative AI, artists and researchers teamed up to create a new installment of Tezuka's "Black Jack," a classic manga series following the adventures of an ingenious but unlicensed surgeon who often uses his skills to cure the poor and needy.
