SEOUL — North Korea said on Sunday (June 2) it would stop sending balloons carrying trash over the border to South Korea but vowed to resume the practise if anti-North Korean leaflets are flown over again from the South.
China currently operates two aircraft carriers, the Liaoning and the Shandong. It launched the Fujian, a next-generation 80,000-tonne aircraft carrier larger than those operated by India or Japan, last month.
SEOUL (Reuters) -- North Korea sent some 600 balloons carrying trash into South Korea overnight, Seoul said on Sunday, in Pyongyang's latest move to rile its rival neighbour.
The three countries are expected to further deepen their cooperation to ensure peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region following an accord on Saturday between Tokyo and Seoul to resume high-level exchanges between the Japan Self-Defence Forces and the South Korean military.
